36: Your 10 Point Guide To Cultivate Abundant Money Habits.

If you have been listening to the podcast for a while now you will be well aware that I am passionate about educating women about creating wealth and an abundant mindset. Our mindset is the foundation if you will, for all the results we create for ourselves.  Actions are important and something we have to do to implement our goals but without the mindset to back it up, it is very easy to fall back into old habits and patterns. Let’s get our money mindset on track for abundance, let’s learn how to cultivate abundant money habits.

35: Four Books To Get You Investing In Shares

A few weeks back I shared with you that one of the Money Mindful book club ladies and listener of this show requested for me to share some books on investing.  So here it is.  You ask and I deliver. Today I am going to give you an overview of four books I have read that have helped me on my share investment journey. I strongly belief that you do not need to be a financial advisor to know how to manage your money and create wealth.  By all means seek expert advice as to where and when you need it for specific topics such as accounting or taxation needs but in general you’ve got this.  You do not need to be a rocket science to understand money or know how to invest.  Believe me.

34: Millionaire Teacher with Andrew Hallam

As a former school teacher, of course, I was attracted to the title, Millionaire Teacher. How could I say no to a title like that? It was certainly attention grabbing for me. But it was Andrews simple teachings about investing that kept me hooked. In the book Andrew shares the nine rules of wealth he follows himself which led him to become a debt free millionaire in his 30s yeah, that's right. You heard me correctly, debt free, and a millionaire in his 30s grab a notepad and pen and pay attention ladies, I think there is a lot that we can learn from Andrew today.

33: Stop Waiting Start Doing

I don’t know about you but I find often when I am learning about something or want to do something, I think about it for a really long time.  I weigh up all my options.  I ponder what the best thing to do is.  Sometimes I think about it for so long I don’t even end up doing what I am thinking about.  Do you ever do this? How long have you thought about setting up an emergency fund or about investing in shares?  But you haven’t done it yet because you are still deciding what account is best for your emergency savings or you want to start investing in shares but you haven’t decided what book to learn about it from or which online course to do or maybe you don’t know where to start.  Does this sound familiar?

32: Talking Investing with Sandra K Stewart

When it comes to being financially secure, and creating wealth, one of the common challenges is that we simply don't know how to do it. Some of us haven't grown up with parents who taught us about investing, or taught us how to use our money to create more money. Sometimes all it takes to get started is simply a little bit of exposure to women investors to realise that investing is available to all of us. When we can see other women doing it. It opens the door to possibility.

31: The Grass is Not Greener

I’m going to get a bit zen on you today.  I have been doing some deep contemplation of late, and it has been blowing my mind so I really wanted to share it with you.  I’m going to teach a new concept to you today that I haven’t discussed on the podcast before. I have actually heard before about what I’m about to tell you today, but I wasn’t ready to understand it.  I feel like as of late, the penny has finally dropped and I’m understanding the concept I am going to teach you today on a much deeper level. I hope I can get your brain ticking on this concept today.  I’m going to call it the 'grass is not greener' because it’s a saying I think most of you are familiar with.

30: How To Be Your Own Teacher

I got a message recently from one of my listeners.  She asked if I could do a podcast on sharing my favourite books for specific money stages like beginners, intermediate and advanced.  She thought that she was already past the beginner stage and wanted to keep progressing her money knowledge beyond the basics. I thought this was a great idea and thought I could most definitely do that.

29: Paying Money Matters

I recently got an email from my podcast service provider that they are changing things up and I no longer fit into the free plan category as I have too many listeners.  Basically, if I want to stay with them as my provider, I have to upgrade my plan and start paying a monthly fee.   I gladly took out my credit card and signed up for the upgrade immediately and here is why.

28: Transform Your Life By Letting Go Of These 3 Simple Words

So, life over this past couple of weeks has been challenging.  I’m not going to sugar coat it.  Having the kids at home every single hour of the day.  Keeping my business moving forward.  Studying and home schooling. Are you kidding me? I’m confident most of you can relate.  Many of us, have had to adjust to a new normal.  Navigating these choppy waters to try and find somewhere calm has been a challenge.   I can assure you I am still seeking the smooth sailing.  I have had moments of it for sure.  Moments when I’ve accepted that I’m in uncharted territory and moments when I have been in complete rebellion.  Letting go of the helm, despite the choppy waters because quite frankly in the moment it has all felt too hard.

27: Victim or Badass

I’m in a lot of Facebook groups that are about money.  Recently, I was following a thread on one such group. A woman made a comment that went something like this:  She still had enough money to cover her rent for a period of time but her and her partner had lost their jobs due to COVID19 and she wanted to hear from others about their experiences.  There were a lot of comments on the thread.  From tenants, landlords and property managers.  It was very interesting.
